Fairfield Gives Back

During the fall of 2019, the Fairfield Civic League will help support the Beach Bags program through Virginia Beach City Public Schools. Our collection will occur from October 22-November 4. Donations can be dropped off at 641 Rosaer Lane or brought to the  Hot Chocolate in the Park Event!

The Fairfield Civic League was happy to host their first ever Winter Food Drive to benefit Feed Kempsville from February 5-12. We were able to collect at least 150 lbs of food- 75 cans, 20 packs/cans of meat, 30 boxes of pasta, 10 boxes of cereal, 20 packs of oatmeal, 17 packs of snack items, 12 packs of potatoes, 12 jars of pasta sauce and condiments (including peanut butter and jelly), and 14 boxed meal sets.

The Fairfield Civic League was happy to host their second annual food drive for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore from October 6-20. We were able to donate 115 pounds of food and baby products!

During the fall of 2017, the Fairfield Civic League was able to successfully hold a Food Drive for the Food Bank of Southeastern Hampton Roads! We had over 250 lbs of food and items, which would be about 187 meals.

We collected approximately:

  • 121 cans of various sizes
  • 55 packaged items
  • 6 peanut butter jars
  • 2 boxes formula, 2 boxes toddler/baby food
  • Diapers & wipes
